Ever wondered what is being checked when your vehicle is in for a service?

Wonder no more, we’ll explain all for you.

A motor vehicle service is a series of maintenance procedures carried out usually within a time frame of 6-12months, or when then vehicle has done between 6,000 - 12,000 miles between each service. Completed services are usually stamped in your vehicles service book

A basic service will typically include an oil and filter change, a visual inspection and a top up of all fluids (washer, brake, antifreeze and steering). Other checks will consist of:

  • Clutch

  • Gearbox

  • Lights

  • Battery

  • Tyres and Bearings

  • Brake Pads

  • Exhaust

However, if you are a person who likes to do the small jobs yourself, we can provide you with the equipment you need. We stock Technolube oils, Michelin Wiper Blades, Oldham batteries, all the fluids your car could need, and many more. We can even fit them all for you for small charge.

There’s not alot Clacton Motorists Discount Ltd can’t help you with.
